Hello and welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #38!
Hey guys! Happy New Year! 🙂
We kept our New Years celebration low-key as we have over the last few years by staying home and watching movies. Dan and I are both pushing 50 and our partying days are long over, which is fine by us! 🙂
I love coming into a new year because it always feels like a fresh start. I love the process of picking out and buying a planner for the new year, thinking about all the fun and exciting stuff coming up to look forward to (including one of my nieces getting married!) and planning for the blog. Even though anyone can make a fresh start anytime, the new year always feels like the perfect time. I think it’s because a lot of people are looking forward to the new year (or just happy the old one is over) and it energetically just feels like the right time to start anew! 🙂
Did you do anything to celebrate the new year? Do you see the new year as a fresh start, or is it the same as any other day to you?
This week I am sharing the gorgeous Christmas home tours shared at last week’s link party. (Guess I wasn’t the only one running behind on Christmas last year 😉 ) I apologize if you’re tired of seeing Christmas decorations, but these home tours are just too pretty not to share!
This week’s features:
A Rustic and Romantic Christmas at My Thrift Store Addiction
Cottage Christmas Home Tour at Follow The Yellow Brick Home
A Christmas Holiday Home Tour at Repurpose and Upcycle
Christmas Glow Around The House at Lovely Things
Vintage Christmas Home Tour 2017 at Adirondack Girl At Heart
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.
By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party! You will also get a chance for your post to be shared on the Facebook group DIY Farmhouse Style, which at this writing has over 259 thousand members!
By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.
Now let’s party!
Thanks so much for stopping by at The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #38! Have a safe and happy New Years and I’ll see you back here next Friday!
