Welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #69!
Hey friends! How was your week?
I am thrilled to announce I finally finished painting our kitchen cabinets, and oh my goodness, if I never paint another kitchen cabinet again, it will be too soon! It’s a project that has been hanging over my head for a while now, and I am SO happy to have it off my plate. I’ll never attempt a project that big again unless I have some serious help. I am super happy I am in love with the results, because it would really suck if I didn’t like it after putting in all that work! Before and after pics are coming soon, so stay tuned! π
On another note, one of my besties is visiting from out of town this week. She just moved to the bay area from southern California to start a new job in a couple of weeks. This is a big transition in her life and I’m super excited for her! She’s staying with us for a couple of days to visit before she starts her new job.
Between my friend visiting and finishing up the kitchen cabinets I’ve been super busy this week! As a result, I’ve been MIA here on the blog and social media. Although I miss interacting with you all, it’s been a nice and much needed break. I promise I will be back in full swing here next week! π
There were a lot of vintage treasure hunting linkups shared last week, so I made it the theme for the features this week! π
This week’s features:
Eye Candy for Antique Lovers by The Red Painted Cottage
Carol shares her shopping adventure at The Found Cottage antique store in Holland, Michigan. Definitely eye candy galore here!
Junkfest and Penny’s Junkyard at Penny’s Vintage Home
Penny visits Junkfest, a flea market held on the last Saturday of each month in Lubbock, Texas. Tons of treasures for the junk enthusiast!
Behind Every Yard Sale is a Really Good Story by Thistlewood Farms
Karianne shares her experience finding this lovely dresser at a yard sale. It’s a story I’m sure many junkers can relate to! π
Readers Report Whatβs Selling in Vintage & Antiques by Adirondack Girl At Heart
If you’re looking for which vintage finds are great to flip, look no further! Diana gives you the breakdown on which vintage finds are selling well these days.
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesnβt fit into that description, please donβt link it up. Please no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.
I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next weekβs party! You will also get a chance for your post to be shared on my Facebook group DIY Farmhouse Style, which at this writing has over 313 thousand members.
By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.
Thanks so much for stopping by The Farmhouse Friday Link Party! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and week!
