Hi Jan, you can use any yarn you want for the pattern. If you’re having problems keeping the yarn on the hook, try using a thinner weight yarn like sock weight. I hope that helps! 🙂

Can your easy heart be made in a cotton,? Should i double it ? Hook is a 3.50 but this is a small hook and I’m struggling trying to keep a grip on the yarn probably as it’s a cotton ,I’m wanting to do it for a keyring ,it’s a lovely pattern so thankyou ,Jan wynder
