These hearts measure 3, 4, and 5 1/2 inches respectively at their widest width. They are so cute and easy to make- you can make a ton of them for Valentine’s Day!

The Easiest Crochet Heart Pattern Ever In 3 Different Sizes!

 
Materials:
Size I (5.50mm) crochet hook 
Scissors
Tapestry or yarn needle
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn or any 10-ply worsted weight yarn 

Abbreviations:
sl st = slip stitch
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
trc = treble crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)

Directions:

For the small sized heart:

ch 5; join with sl st to form a loop.

Round 1:
ch 3.
10 dc and 1 sl st in first ch st.

Round 2:
ch 3; 3 trc in same st.
3 trc in next st.
1 dc, 1 hdc in next st.
1 sc in next 2 sts.
1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc in next st.
1 sc in next 2 sts.
1 hdc, 1 dc in next st.
3 trc in next st.
3 trc, 1 dc in next st.
sl st in first st.

For the medium sized heart:

Follow the directions for the small heart, but instead of the last sl st, sl st into the top of the first stitch of row 2 and ch 3.

Round 3:
1 trc in same st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 trc in next st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 dc in next st.
2 hdc in next st.
1 hdc in next 4 sts.
1 hdc, 1 trc, 1 hdc in next st.
1 hdc in next 4 sts.
2 hdc in next st.
1 dc in next st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 trc in next st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 trc, 1 dc in next st.
sl st into first st.

For the large sized heart:

Follow the directions for the medium heart, but instead of the last sl st, sl st into the top of the first stitch of row 3 and ch 3.

Round 4:
1 trc in same st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 trc in next st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 dc in next st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 dc in next 3 sts.
1 hdc in next 7 sts.
1 hdc, 1 trc, 1 hdc in next st.
1 hdc in next 7 sts.
1 dc in next 3 sts.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 trc in next st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 dc in next st.
2 trc in next 2 sts.
1 trc, 1 dc in next st.
sl st into first st.
