How To Keep Your Cats Healthy and Happy

Cats have always been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I can’t imagine my life without my feline furbabies! That’s why it’s so important to us to keep them happy and healthy.

Let me introduce you to one of our cats, Taz. Taz is almost a year old at this writing, and we’ve had him ever since we rescued him and his brother from becoming strays when they were around 8 weeks old.

Taz and his brother are the third litter of a semi-feral mama cat (aka “The Kitten Factory”) that found her way to my parent’s house and then had three litters of kittens before we were finally able to trap her and get her spayed. I’m happy to say that the kittens from all her litters were also spayed or neutered and either given to loving homes or kept by my parents or us.

Taz is easily the most active and playful of our cats. He is always on the go, so it was very difficult to get him to stay still long enough to get the two pictures above. Most of the shots I got of him look like this:
