I don’t want my answer to indimidate you, because even if you are not a technical person, blogging platforms like WordPress (the one I use) are designed to be user friendly for people who are not technical. You might have to consult with your web host provider with the initial setup, but after that you should be able to use the platform to post with no problems. However, if you ever wanted to customize the appearance or functionality of the blog beyond what WordPress is designed to do, you would have to hire a programmer.

Now with that said, I didn’t personally find the technical aspects because I have a Master’s in Computer Science and worked in the IT industry for 15 years before I left the industry to become a blogger. 🙂 But again, you do not need to have that or be a programmer in order to create your own blog as long as you use a blogging platform like WordPress.
