Hey guys! Can you believe it’s almost the end of 2017? This year has flown by!
To ring in the New Year nice and proper like, I’m counting down my top 5 posts of 2017!
5. Old Beat Up Cabinet Transformed Into A Wine Bar
My favorite and most challenging furniture makeover this year! I took the old cabinet my late father used as a gun re-loader and transformed it into a wine cabinet.
4. DIY Repurposed Cabinet Doors
This was an easy and fun project that has a multitude of decor uses! Use it like I did above, hang on a wall and hang decor on it, or use it as a backing for wall scones / towel racks / hooks / antlers /whatever! 🙂
3. DIY Painted Wood Signs – Without Using Stencils!
My free printable letters for sign-making were extremely popular this year and round out the top three posts. This tutorial shows you how to design and print out your own letters in whatever size and font you choose as well as how to use the letters to make signs.
2. Free Printable & Traceable Letters For Making Farmhouse Style Signs!
Don’t have the time to make your own printable letters for signs? Then just download and print these free printables in the very popular Baskerville Old Face font and you’re good to go.
1. Free Printable Letters To Make A Farmhouse Sign!
Although this only offers printable letters for the word “farmhouse”, it got a lot of traction on Pinterest which made it the most popular post on my blog this year.
That’s my countdown of the top 5 posts on the blog for 2017! Have a safe and happy New Years and I’ll see you back here in 2018!

Thanks so much Raquel! 🙂 I love working with old pallets. I have a few posts where I used old fence boards for projects, but you can use pallet wood for them as well. You can see them here: http://www.thepaintedhinge.com/?s=fence
