I work for an electrical contracting firm – how appropriate would these be to sit on my desk?!
Insulators intrigue me, yet I don’t own any, myself. I’d love to add a few to my collection of other little industrial curiosities.
These are so fun!
These are so cool, Michelle! I wish I wasn’t purging, or I would enter! Thanks for joining in with us (pinning) XO
I’ve got a few insulators myself, I need to look up a project to use them for. I’ve got a blue one and a couple clear in different sizes.
I collect these
These brought back memories for me as my great uncle was a conductor on the railroad and collected these. He actually made jewelry out of them as he brought home green, blue and clear ones. Thanks for the memories.
They would be gifted to a friend who is a Hugh collector.
Thank U 4 this giveaway opportunity.
My husband has collected these since he was 18. We just bought a cabin in the mountains and he is making me a authentic wagon wheel chandelier. He has made me vases out of them also. Love them
I love the farm, rustic décor and I am sure I can find a project using the glass insulators.

I would love to put these on my book case!
EEP, my Dad collected these for years but when he passed away his wife took w/ ALL of his things, collected, made, drawn, painted, (he was VERY crafty & artistic) & ran off to somewhere unknown to his children! I DO pray for her often as she must’ve wanted his things far more than his own children did. Thank you for the opportunity to win a couple of these beauts!!! Thank you for the giveaway & GOOD LUCK Y’ALL!!!
Ummm, I have the same bad habit when it comes to these. Love them!
Oh, the stories they could tell! Glass insulators are such a great home accessory for any style. Awesome giveaway, Michelle!
I will use them for paper weights.
What great giveaways you girls are doing! I have seen the insulators used with tea lights in them and that is what I would do with these if I were to win. Thank you for the opportunity!
on coffee table
I can’t believe how many of these we found in an old barn on the property of the house we raised our girls in, this was 30+ years ago and we just tossed them in the trash…ugh! I would love to have been clairvoyant at that time and known how popular they would become. I could’ve been the trendsetter here! LOL! Thank you for this opportunity.
These would look great on my desk! My dad collects insulators. It would be great to start my collection with these. Thank you!
I’d love to use these as tabletop display for the patio, I’ve see people use flameless tea lights under them and they look so pretty!
We have these in clear and in turquoise! Your winner will be very happy!
Remember seeing the insulators as a young girl. We would country roads heading to visit family before interstate was opened across the mountains. My sister and I would shout “Green one or Clear one” which ever one we saw. Those were the good old days. Would love to have them and I would give one to her.
As a linewife you’d think I have these in abundance, lol unfortunately I don’t have any so I would love to start my collection!
My mom had a collection of blue and clear ones back in the 70s, which I totally didn’t understand and now wish I had them!.
I could totally use these in my cabinet display! They would catch the light beautifully.
