Apply a bit of hot glue to one side of the magnet…
… and attach the drawer pull. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly before use.
Some of the drawer pulls I used had a big enough bottom surface to cover the magnet; others, not so much. I recommend using drawer pulls that have a wide, flat bottom surface as this is going to hold up better over time.
These are obviously great to use as refrigerator magnets, but they can also be used on any metal decor to add a little extra pop! They’re also great to display greeting cards, postcards, photos, seasonal decor, etc… the possibilities are endless!
One of our cats Baby Girl checking out the new decor. I’m not sure if she approves or not 😀
I got these awesome metal trays at Decor Steals. They are sold as a set of three and these are the larger two trays in the set.
I used some vintage postcards and pictures that belonged to my grandparents to display on the trays. We still live on the farm where the postcard was sent (the address format is different now than it was back then) and where many of the pictures were taken. Makes me nostalgic for sure!
Please check out the other projects in the blog hop from the other talented Thrifty Style Team ladies!

Pinned for later…

Thank you Claire! 🙂
Love these, Michelle! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm–pinned!
What a great idea. I am so going to use this for a project that I have coming up. I have a bunch of extra family pictures that I am going to take to a family reunion that I have coming up in about a month. I was trying to figure out the best way to display them so my relatives could pick out any that they wanted and take them. I love the idea of the drawer pull magnets because they are easy to take off. Thank you so much for sharing at To Grandma’s House we go and congratulations on the feature.
Great and EASY project! I especially like your tray ‘magnet boards’! Pinning! Here from Morning Cup of Joe!
What a cute and clever craft! I adore the metal trays. Have a safe and happy Memorial Day!
