Welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #64!
Hello friends! How was your week? I hope you had a great 4th of July (or Canada Day if you’re one of our friends from up north). We stayed home this year and had a nice, low-key celebration. My mom came over with a potato salad, we barbecued hot dogs and I made a chocolate cheesecake for dessert.
Once it got dark, we went upstairs and watched some of the firework shows from our neighboring towns. Our house is in the country and we’re about 5 miles south of our town. We also have towns that are east and west of us and about the same distance away. Although it’s not like being right under the firework show, we can still see them well enough. It’s also nice not to have to fight the crowds in town that come to see the fireworks.
We had a lot of summer-themed linkups last week, so this week’s features are all things summer! 🙂
This week’s features:
Christine at Little Brags shared this gorgeous tray with a beaded demijohn bottle as part of her front porch with boho vibes blog post. It’s so pretty and fresh and perfect for summer.
Lora B. shared 10 ways to add vintage farmhouse style to your summertime decor. I have a yellow sprinkler that is almost identical to the one above, and it inspired me to include it in my home decor this year. There is a ton more summertime decor inspiration in Lora’s post that you won’t want to miss, so be sure to check it out.
Decorating tiered trays can be challenging, but Carol at The Red Painted Cottage makes it look easy. She shared this tray along with a lot of other beachy themed summer inspiration in her blog post summer decor with a coastal vibe.
Mary at The Boondocks Blog made this gorgeous seaside art from a hidden treasure in the dresser. I just love how she made it all come together, and the sailboat is the perfect touch that sets it all off.
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.
I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party! You will also get a chance for your post to be shared on my Facebook group DIY Farmhouse Style, which at this writing has over 307 thousand members.
By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.
Thanks so much for stopping by The Farmhouse Friday Link Party! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and week ahead and I’ll see you back here next Friday!

Hi Michelle! Sounds like you and I have the same idea of a nice relaxing way to spend the Fourth of July! It was too hot for me, and I don’t like the crowds, so we stayed home most of the day and then we it cooled down we drove out to let off some fireworks with family who live a little further out in the county.
Thanks for hosting this great party, hope you have wonderful weekend!
