Welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #66!
Hey gang! How was your week?
I didn’t get a chance to post anything this week because I’ve been a busy girl!
First off, I worked on my post for the Vintage Summer Gardens Hop hosted by Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home.Β We have several talented ladies joining us, so the tour is sure to be amazeballs!
My post for the hop will be ideas to transition your porch decor from summer to fall. Here’s a little sneak peek at what I’m working on:
Do you like my two little “helpers”? That’s Tom on the left and Chance on the right. When I’m working on projects – especially outdoors – at least one of my cats will get involved. A picture like this with my cats “posing” is rare – usually when I try to take a picture of them, they have their butts toward the camera with tails up.
Second, I’m painting our kitchen cabinets white, both because I want them white and so I can show our kitchen in home tours on the blog without being the only farmhouse blogger in the universe without painted kitchen cabinets.
I am working on it in sections to avoid making the kitchen unusable while I’m painting and to keep the project from totally overwhelming me. We have a large kitchen, but I’m making headway! I hope to have it finished by the end of the month, but don’t hold your breath π
This week’s features:
French Farmhouse Dresser Makeover with an Image Transfer by Repurpose and Upcycle
Lindsey took an ordinary dresser and turned into something unique and gorgeous using mineral paint and an image transfer.
Industrial Style Rotating Hardware Bin (from Tupperware!) by Sadie Seasongoods
This project totally blew my mind! Can you believe this is tupperware?!? Sarah is a makeover genius!
Antique Secretary Desk in Lamp White by Creative Moments
I have a thing for secretary desks, and I just love how Lee Ann turned this unique but drab one into a pristine white beauty.
Vintage Yardstick and Scrabble Tile DIY Garden Markers by Adirondack Girl at Heart
Making stuff with scrabble tiles is all the rage now, and I can see why with these awesome garden markers. Leave it to Diana to come with such a super-creative use for them!
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesnβt fit into that description, please donβt link it up. Please no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.
I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next weekβs party! You will also get a chance for your post to be shared on my Facebook group DIY Farmhouse Style, which at this writing has over 309 thousand members.
By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.
Thanks so much for stopping by The Farmhouse Friday Link Party! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and week ahead and I’ll see you back here next Friday!

That’s a big job you’re tackling, Michelle! I did mine a few years ago and so happy I painted them white. You’ll love them π Nice to see Diana’s adorable garden stakes featured this week. Thanks for the party. If you don’t the links I shared this week qualify in the farmhouse niche, I won’t be offended if you delete them. Have a great weekend!

I appreciate the encouragement for painting my cabinets! I need all the help I can get π And the links you shared this week are totally fine, but I appreciate you being okay with me deleting them if I didn’t think so. Have a great rest of your weekend! π

Much better for all that blog photography, for sure;) Summer’s a great time to slow down the blog pace a while and get some home projects done-just keep swimming! Enjoy your weekend; thanks for hosting! Will see you Mon for the Vintage Garden hop!

Thanks Michelle for your 66th Farmhouse Link Party. I added some duck pictures this week – wooden and painted along with the summer maintenance that is on-going. Love the way you are transforming your kitchen painting you cupboards white.
