Welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #72!
Hey guys! How was your week?
So yesterday I hit the big 5-0! My mom, my hubs and I went up to Sutter Creek and Jackson (about an hour away up the hill from us) to spend the day treasure hunting. I found some awesome stuff!
If you’re wondering why I got the potty pot, I’m in the process of making over one of my bathrooms and I plan on using the pot as part of the decor. The bathroom makeover before and after photos are coming soon, so stay tuned!
In the spirit of the upcoming fall season, the features this week are all fall-themed! I’m not a big fan of putting up seasonal decor early, but fall is the exception to that rule. By this time of year, I’m sick of the 100+ degree weather and more than ready for fall to bring in cooler temps. It’s also my favorite season to decorate. Bringing out the fall decor early is sort of my “rain dance” to get fall here ASAP!
Are you ready for fall to be here already?
This week’s features:

These pumpkins Desiree whipped up are gorgeous and so easy to make! I’m definitely going to use her tutorial to make a few for myself.
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.
I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party! You will also get a chance for your post to be shared on my Facebook group DIY Farmhouse Style, which at this writing has over 316 thousand members.
By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.

Hi Michelle! I’m not accustomed to blogs and have none of my own, however, I’m so glad that I stumbled on your place here. I found this spot while searching for ways to clean colored vintage decorative wine bottles.
I love this site and will visit more often. You’re very creative!

You are in my neighborhood! We lived in El Dorado Hills for 25 years and just moved down to Fair Oaks off of the American River. It’s was a fun surprise to hear to name local stops!

Happy bday! You are such a baby! A quick question….. how do you get your pillows to stay put on your bench? We have a L shaped bench in the kitchen on the back side of the table. I’ve always wanted a pile of pillows back there and everytime l try they just seem to slide around. Thank you
Michelle says
Hi Jania! I wish I could take credit for the lovely bench, but it’s not mine… it’s a picture I’m sharing from Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home. You can check out her blog post with this bench here: https://followtheyellowbrickhome.com/transitioning-from-summer-to-fall-home-tour/
