Welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party!
Hey friends!
How was your week? This is my last super busy week for the season blog-wise. I’m wrapping up the decorations for my yearly Christmas home tour on the blog and setting up for a Christmas tablescape blog hop I’m taking part in next week. My busy season for the blog starts around the first week of September and ends around the first week of December. What’s interesting is that around the time most people start getting really busy for Christmas is when I start slowing down. I like it because I can really enjoy Christmas with my family and friends since I’m already prepared for it (although Thanksgiving is another story). 😉
On another note, I’m super stoked we had 36 linkups to the party last week! That’s the most ever! I never expected this party to be huge because of the narrow focus, but it’s still awesome to see it growing. The only bad part about the party growing is you guys are making it SO hard to choose features every week because of all you are so talented and your projects are all so gorgeous! If you are new to the party, welcome and thank you so much for joining us! If you’ve been a party regular, thank you so much for coming back every week to share your talent with us!
This week I’m featuring my favorite Christmas DIY projects from last week to get your Christmasy creative juices flowing!
This week’s features:
DIY Patchwork Wood Christmas Tree by Sweet Pea
Paula uses her power tool wizardry to create this stunning patchwork wood Christmas tree! Her detailed step-by-step tutorial will have you making one of your own in no time flat!
A DIY Basket For That Special Holiday Hostess Gift by The Interior Frugalista
Marie made over a wood basket she found at Goodwill for $2 to create this lovely coffee-themed gift basket. Wouldn’t you just love to receive this as a gift? I know I would (hint, hint)! 😉
DIY Sleigh Bells From An Old Belt by Tee Diddily Dee
Tiffany shares her tutorial on how she made these super-cute sleigh bells. What a great way to repurpose an old belt!
Making a Farmhouse Gather Sign for the Holidays by Adirondack Girl at Heart
The holidays are all about gathering with family and friends. Diana shares how she created her Gather sign that will work for the holidays year round.
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please, no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.
I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.
Thanks so much for stopping by The Farmhouse Friday Link Party! I hope you have a wonderful week and I’ll see you back here next Friday!

Thank you so much, Michelle for featuring my DIY Hostess Gift Basket! I know exactly what you mean about winding down for Christmas as a blogger. Looking forward to the break after a very busy final quarter. Have a great weekend and hope you have time to relax a bit.

Winding down sounds nice, but don’t think it’ll happen for me till after Christmas…but there’s a white sand beach calling my name;) Thanks for hosting, Michelle!
