Welcome to Farmhouse Friday!
Hey guys! How was your week?
My blogging hiatus continues, but that wasn’t in the plan for this week! I wanted to hit it hard this week, but it was just one of those weeks where the Universe had other plans for me!
First off, my lower back injury from when I used to be a blue collar worker in an ice plant flared up on me this week. I don’t usually talk about it because most of us have our aches and pains we have to deal with. I do manage the pain with CBD oil and yoga, but sometimes I overdo things which causes it to flare up. As long as I take it easy for a couple of days I’ll be good as new.
Despite my lower back issues, I was going to post a project I did a few weeks ago but never got around to posting. But guess what? I misplaced the camera that I used to take the project pictures! The hubs and I took advantage of the Memorial Day weekend to take a bunch of stuff to Goodwill (which is how I threw my back out) and I misplaced the camera in the shuffle. At first I thought maybe I had accidentally put the camera in with the stuff going to Goodwill. (That would have been a good laugh for the Goodwill folks – they’d be like “Why’d this person take so many pictures of them painting a cart?”) It’s a small camera that I use to take pictures in the “during” part of my projects so I don’t end up dropping my good SLR camera in a bucket of paint. Unfortunately the small size also makes it very easy to misplace. I finally did find the camera – this morning! Which didn’t leave me enough time to get the post ready before tonight.
I promise I will be back in full swing next week – unless the Universe has other ideas again! 🙂

I get my R W & B out for Memorial Day, love it for Flag Day, then till past July 4th! Don’t have a lot but several years ago I made bunting cafe curtains for the kitchen! It all goes well with my milk glass and cobalt glass collections, too! Hope your back is better!
