Hey guys! I hope you had a great week and kept cool in the summer heat! We’re getting into our hottest time of the year here in Nor Cal with an expected high of 108 degrees on Sunday. Usually I’d be whining about the heat, but my garden is finally producing after struggling in the cooler-than-normal summer temps we’ve had up until now. There’s nothing like fresh vegetables from the garden. And I can feel safe knowing that all my vegetables are safe for consumption… all the reports lately about vegetables being recalled for one thing or another has me throwing suspicious glances at the produce section whenever I’m at the grocery store 🤨
This week I’ve combined a few of my favorites from the party with some summer decor inspiration I found the web to share with you guys today! 🌞
DeeDee and Bobby at Clover House shares some fresh and unique summer and patriotic decor inspiration.
I can’t take my eyes off this summer porch spruced up summer sale decor at Penny’s Vintage Home. Leave it to Penny to create something this stunning!
This farmhouse style potting bench by Sarah Joy Blog is a collection of everything that’s beautiful about summer in the garden.
I love the beautiful simplicity of this pitcher filled with greenery and a touch of flowers. It’s part of the modern farmhouse summer home hour at Seeking Lavender Lane.
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please, no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.
I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.

Hi Michelle,
Your last email said that this may be the last Linky party you give and you wanted our constructive thoughts and ideas on this so here goes…I really love the new format with what you come up with posting pics and ideas from other places that you find online. There are some really awesome ideas out there! I also love when you pick your favs and feature us as well, because that really motivates us to keep posting. What I do have a hard time with is coming up with just farmhouse ideas every week that fits the Farmhouse category. I have lots of posts that do fit, but I have also have some kids stuff, and yard and animal stuff, and other things that are not in the category of Farmhouse, or home décor, or whatever the theme is for each linky party I visit. So, I have to skip those blogs that have a narrow focus until I make something that fits their category. The easiest linky parties for me are the ones that have a broader focus…Family Friendly posts, Recipes, any DIY, Home décor, yard, garden, kids, Seasonal, no political posts allowed. Also, I love it when we are allowed to post older posts since it is nice to recycle some of our ideas every 2 or 3 years if they are still good ones instead of having to have new posts all the time. Ok, this is my 2 cents worth. I do LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog and I LOVE Farmhouse Friday. I really hate to see it go because it is one of my favs and hope you reconsider. But, I do understand that you are doing your best to keep things current for your blog, which is absolutely awesome, by the way! I wish you always the best of everything!
Many hugs,
Tee

Thanks so much Tee! I 🙂 appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback on my decision. I did think about opening up the link party to include more categories, but I always worried that might be a turn-off for some of my readers if I had too wide of a focus. I’ll try it this way and see how it works out – I can always go back to hosting the link party if it doesn’t work out. Thanks again for feedback and thanks for being a wonderful blogger buddy! 🙂

Good to see you back, Michelle! We’ve been having the same cool temperatures with a sprinkle of heat here and there just to tease us. One of the coolest summers in history and it sucks. Send some of that heat here please. LOL Thanks for hosting and have a great week!
