Back to square one! – Farmhouse Friday 113

Hey friends! After getting some feedback from some of you about my recent changes to Farmhouse Friday and batting it back and forth for a while, I’ve decided to go back to the original format of a farmhouse themed link party. I apologize for not being able to make up my mind on this sooner and I totally get it if you’re annoyed at me for it – one of my super powers is pissing people off without even trying 😀

Thank you SO much to everyone who has linked up to my parties in the past – you all totally rock! And thank you for putting up with me not being able to make up my mind with what I wanted to do with Farmhouse Friday… I’m always striving to figure out what you guys want to see here, and sometimes I get a little tripped up in the process. It’s another one of my super powers 🙂

The party might be a bit slow this week, but once word gets around that it’s back to the way it was we should have our usual average number of linkups at next week’s party.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep the same party format until the very last minute so I didn’t have time to put together features for this week. I decided to use a picture of this tiered tray I am styling as part of my contribution to the Summer Celebration blog hop which will go live next Tuesday. As I styled this tray, I thought how much I used to struggle with styling tiered trays. I’ve since discovered these are really easy to style using a few simple tips. This inspired me to put together a tutorial on how to style tiered trays which I will be posting next week.
