Hey guys! So I finally got around to doing some Fall decorating. I’m early for the actual start of Fall, but I’m about six weeks late according to Instagram.
I started fall decorating in our kitchen and I’m working my way into our dining room.
I’m leaning towards using all natural elements in my decor nowadays instead of faux floral picks and what not. I don’t have anything against faux florals; I just like the more rough and irregular look of natural elements. I will still be using some faux stuff this year, but I’m hoping to go all natural next year.
I bought some natural bittersweet from a seller on Etsy to use in my fall decor. As far as I know bittersweet does not grow in our area, so my plan is to save some of the seeds from the vines I bought and try to grow them next spring.
Did you know that amber Mason jars were a thing?!? I had no idea! I Googled it on a whim and it ends up they sell them on Amazon. You can get the one I’m using as a vase in the crate here. I bought other sizes to use in my Fall decor, so stay tuned to see what else I do with them!
Some of the links in this post are Amazon affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of these links, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you. If you do purchase through one of my links, thank you so much for helping keep my blog content free for everyone to enjoy!
I threw together a couple of small vignettes for our kitchen counter tops.
Last but not least, the scale I inherited from my grandparents. It’s one of my favorite vintage pieces and it’s always so much fun to decorate for the seasons.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my fall kitchen! Stay tuned for more fall decor coming next week!

Michelle, our kitchens are very similar, the gray grout on the subway tile, gray granite, white cabinets. you have so many wonderful vignettes and I love the touches of Bittersweet, I’m hoping I can locate some here in town. Happy Weekend!

I LOVE all the natural elements in your kitchen… bittersweet is so pretty! You’re right… I don’t think we get this in CA… but I hear it’s a real booger when it grows. I’m going to check out Etsy for this! Do you have a link? Thanks for sharing, Michelle!

Hi Julie! I’m sorry for the late reply! This is the seller on Etsy I bought the bittersweet from: https://www.etsy.com/listing/461097058/bittersweet-swag-loose-bittersweet-table?show_sold_out_detail=1&frs=1 I don’t know if it’s just this particular listing that sold out or she is sold out for the season. Have a great weekend! 🙂
