Hey guys! This week I put together a little Valentine’s Day Vignette in the corner of our dining room.
I tried to put a Valentine’s Day vignette together in my entryway, but it didn’t come together like I wanted. I like to decorate my entryway for all the “minor” holidays like Valentine’s Day as that is the first area visitors see when they arrive. But I really love how this turned out, so all’s well that ends well π
I got the mannequin from Pier 1 Imports around 10 years ago. I want to come up with a name for her but I haven’t thought of anything I liked yet. I was thinking “Vine” because her weave looks like vines, but it doesn’t have a nice ring to it. Do you have any name suggestions for her?
Vine and the door are new to this corner. I plan on swapping out her apron to go with the seasons and holidays.
At the start of January I mentioned that I want to keep my holiday decor simple this year. All I added to the “regular” decor is dried flowers, a small stuffed heart pillow and I wooden bead and heart necklace for “Vine” π
Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? We usually cook a special meal at home as it’s always so busy at the restaurants that day.
How you like my little stuffed heart? I want to make a bunch more!
I hope you enjoyed my Valentine’s Day Vignette in the dining room! Let me know what you think or if you have any questions in the comments section below!
Have a Happy Valentine’s Day! <3

Beautiful vignette, very detailed. The door is cool, the distressed paint is wonderful. How about calling the mannequin Vivi?

Hi Michelle. I love everything about this little corner. Did you create the look on the door? If so, please share. When i had breast cancer the ladies at the cancer center gave me a stuffed heart pillow to put under my arm after my radiation treatments so i love stuffed heart pillows.

Perhaps you could call your mannequin “Twiggy” after the model (from the sixties) I also like “Willow”.
R Blaser says
I think those are both great names π
