Hey guys! I hope you had a wonderful week!
Hey guys! It’s Thrifty Style Team time! Thrifty Style Team is a group of talented ladies who get together every month to bring you beautiful and thrifty DIY projects and decor inspiration that won’t break the bank!
My thrifty style project for this month is how to make paperback books look vintage.
An update on my cat Tom. At last week’s party I shared that he possibly had lymphoma and had to go for an endoscopy to confirm it. Ends up they now have a special blood test to confirm lymphoma in cats so Tom didn’t have to have an endoscopy. I was so happy as a blood test is a lot less invasive than an endoscopy (not to mention a lot cheaper!). We got the test results back and it confirmed that Tom has lymphoma. The vet recommended a steroid and a oral chemotherapy, both which can be given at home. Although I’m sad that Tom has lymphoma, this is a very slow moving cancer in which 85% of the cases will go into remission for 1-3 years with treatment. As my vet said: “If he has to have cancer, this is the best one to have.”
I took this picture a couple of days ago of Tom relaxing on the bed with one of our other cats Baby Girl. He is still pain free and acting like his old self.

Link Party Rules:
The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite farmhouse style DIY projects or indoor/outdoor decor inspiration. You don’t have to live in a farmhouse or have farmhouse style as one of the main themes of your blog – as long as the project or decor would work in a farmhouse style home, it will work here ๐ No food or recipes, please.
I donโt require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I appreciate it! I also donโt require you to visit or comment on other bloggerโs linkups, but itโs always a nice way to share the bloggy love! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next weekโs party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up to this party, you permit me to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
Thanks so much for stopping by and and have a great weekend!
