Hey guys! I hope you had a safe, healthy and happy week!
Our weather has finally cooled off (we had a high of 100 today instead of 110) only to be replaced by tons of smoke, ash and dust from all the grass fires burning in our area and the almond harvest.
Usually the almond harvest covers everything outside in an inch of dust (I’m exaggerating there, but not by much), but the fires are dropping ash all over everything as well. It probably goes without saying that I won’t be doing any fall decorating outdoors until further notice. At least we’re not close enough to any of the fires to worry about evacuation, and my heart goes out to everyone who has been uprooted by the fires.
Can we just put up Christmas decorations and call this year a wrap? I am so done with 2020!

Link Party Rules:
Link up your DIY projects, decor inspiration, and crafts that are farmhouse style. You don’t have to live in a farmhouse or have farmhouse be the main decor theme in your home. I love seeing farmhouse mixed in with other styles such as boho! No food or recipe posts please. I’m super flexible when it comes to defining “farmhouse” so if you are unsure of whether your post will fit in the party theme, go ahead and post it and if I feel it doesn’t fit, it will be deleted – no hard feelings! 🙂 It doesn’t matter how old your posts are, but please link up your posts only once.
I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I appreciate it! I also don’t require you to visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.
By linking up to this party, you permit me to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend and week!

That smoke looks so awful! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. We live in WA and will get bad smoke up here from summer fires sometimes. It’s so hard even at this distance, so I can only imagine when the fires are closer to home. Stay healthy!
Michelle says
Thank you Rachel! This is the closest the fires have been in a while where we actually can smell the smoke and get ash fallout. I hope we get some rain here soon! I hope you have a wonderful week!

On vacation this week and the wifi is sketchy but wanted to pop over to thank you so much for the burlap pumpkin feature! xo I was thinking about you last night when watching the news footage of the fires. So glad to hear you are safe and not one of the poor souls who have lost everything or being threatened by the fires.
Michelle says
You’re very welcome Marie! And yes I am so grateful that we are not close enough to the fires to be a threat. I hope you are enjoying your vacation and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hi Michelle! Yes it’s nuts. Between Covid, the heat, the air quality from the fires, I barely want to leave the house. The silver lining is I’m getting some projects done around the house. I feel awful for the firefighters and the folks in the line of destruction. I can’t even image. Stay safe my friend. Thanks for the party and I love the features.
XO- MaryJo
