This week I decided to decorate one of my hutches for spring using blue glass and other spring-y odds and ends.
I love my blue glass bottles, demijohn jugs and mason jars, but I haven’t found a way to decorate with a bunch of them all together until now.
I also wanted to decorate it for spring, but not for any particular holiday in spring so I wouldn’t have to switch anything out until summertime at the earliest.
I got the two smaller jugs on the side shelves from Decor Steals. The larger jugs are vintage glass water cooler jugs.
The tool caddies are from Amazon.
The Mason jars along with the other antiques have been accumulated over time from family, friends, antique shops and flea markets.

Oh my soul in heaven! I’ve seen collections of blue glass but this one takes the cake! It makes me want to get out there and shop for more so I can display them like this at my house too. That would entail getting a fantastic hutch like yours, way more blue glass, and finding more talent as well! This is just so beautiful! Don’t tell anyone but it’s my favorite way to display a collection so far! Grinning and pinning!

This took me working on and off for over a week, so I think it was more determination than talent 🙂 I have a crazy amount of blue glass (this is about half of it maybe?) so it was great to figure out a way to display some of it. This is gorgeous! Love the blue glass and also the combination of other wood and galvanized things! Love the little doves they look like they may be concrete? Anyway it totally looks like spring and makes me want to hit some of my favorite antique shops and fleas!
Thank you so much Karen – I’m so happy my hutch inspired you! I got the little doves (they’re not concrete – just look like it) from a craft store years ago (I don’t remember which craft store – it was either Hobby Lobby, JoAnns or Michaels).
