Hey friends! Today I am so excited to join The Pinterest Challenge hosted by my good friend Cindy at County Road 407! The Pinterest Challenge is a group of talented ladies that get together once a month to put our personal spin on inspiring decor found on Pinterest!
Our inspiration photo from Pinterest is this gorgeous summer tablescape by Karen at Sanctuary Home DΓ©cor.
If you are coming over from Postcards From The Ridge, wasn’t Angie’s tablscape using pastel florals so pretty?
For my tablescape, I took the liberty (pun not intended) to do a patriotic theme using berry sprays and American flags instead of flowers. It’s more of a stretch than usual for me for the Pinterest challenge and at first I wondered if I should depart this far from the inspiration photo. But then I realized the photo inspired me to create this tablescape and is the whole point of the challenge.
I bought my vintage milk glass vases in a lot off of Facebook Marketplace. You can read the story behind them in my post 5 tips for thrifting on Facebook Marketplace.
I bought the berry sprigs and American flags from Amazon. I’ll put the links for the berry sprigs at the end of this post.
I tied a bow on some of the flags and put them on top of the place settings as a party favor for my dinner guests. If I wanted to do a seating arrangement, I would put a guest’s name on a gift tag and attach it to the flag.
I didn’t get crazy with decorating my hutch like I usually do π I put a together a simple floral arrangement in a pitcher using faux florals in patriotic colors and a American flag. I bought the faux florals from Amazon too and I’ll include the link for them at the end of the post. I filled the baskets hanging on either side of my hutch with more flags.
That’s it for my tablescape! I hope you enjoyed it π Here is the Amazon shopping list for this post:
Next up on the tour is Marty from A Stroll Thru Life! You will love her pretty tablescape in summer florals!
Here is the entire lineup of the Lifestyle Of Love Blog Hop for this month!
I hope you enjoyed this month’s Pinterest Challenge and it’s given you a ton of inspiration to create your own spectacular tablescape!
Happy tablescaping!

I love this and it’s perfectly patriotic! Even the wall hangings look fabulous. I remember the milk glass at my grandmothers and aunts houses. Wish I had some of my own. Gives me a reason to keep hitting those antique stores! Thank you so much for joining in. It all looks fantabulous. Pinned

This is so beautiful and festive for celebrating the USA! I just love it. It has also reminded me that I don’t have a single piece of milk glass. I feel a need to go antiquing now to remedy that!

I LOVE this! It’s so cute and simple, yet delivers a big wow! I also love how inexpensive this is. You can find flags at the Dollar Store and milk glass vases at a thrift shop. I have so many of those little white vases in my stash.

Thank you so much Amy! I’m so happy my tablescape inspired you! π

Michelle,
I have several milkglass bud vases just like yours, so your centerpiece really gave me some great ideas. The patriotic berry sprays look so nice contrasting with those white vases. What a great spin on this challenge!
