Patriotic Blue Glass Hutch

Hey friends! Can you believe it’s July 1st already?!? I knew I was running behind with this patriotic themed post, but I didn’t realize how late until I looked at my calendar this morning and it’s already freaking July 1st!!! Where has the year gone?

I decorated this hutch with blue glass at the beginning of the year and decided to challenge myself by changing it out for the seasons while keeping the blue glass for the entire year.

Since blue glass is blue (obviously), it’s easy to work in a red, white and blue patriotic theme.

The first thing I did was add a bunch of American flags!

Previously I had two blue glass jugs on either side of the hutch, but I removed one on each side so I could put American flags in the remaining two. I bought some small decrative stools from Amazon to lift the jugs up a bit to fill in the space.

I like that the stools match the toolboxes that I also bought on Amazon.

I picked up the birdhouse from Hobby Lobby a few years ago. I used the galvanized hummingbird feeder base for years until the galvanizing wore off on the inside and started rusting, so it was time to switch it out for decor.

I got the patriotic berry spray in the Mason jar from Amazon too.

I got all of my mason jars at flea markets, antique stores or gifted to me by freinds and relatives.
