Hey there friend! I hope you had an awesome week!
This week my good friend and Farmhouse Friday co-host Cindy at County Road 407 has been working on freshened her entryway up for summer and the results are gorgeous!
I took the week off from blogging to catch up on some house cleaning. The pain I was having in my left hip/leg have finally let up to the point where I can get around to clean, but do I ever have a lot of catching up to do! Like Cindy told me – it’s terrible that we are at a point in our lives where we have to schedule things around feeling good. Like this quote I read online somewhere: inside of every old person there is a pissed off young person wondering what the hell happened. I so feel that lately! 🤣

OMG, you couldn’t have said it better! “inside every old person is a pissed-off young person wondering what the hell happened”. That’s quotable! Just this morning I was chatting with another “seasoned” blogger about this very same thing. Oh well, as long as we’re still young at heart. I refuse to grow up. LOL Have a nice weekend, Michelle, and thanks for hosting!

I don’t normally comment much on the blogs. I find that what I want to say has already been said many times. Today I make the exception!! THANK YOU for the quotable comment about getting old. Oh, Father in Heaven!!!!! FINALY someone out there has said out loud what I feel every single day. My mind thinks it is 25, my body – 101!!! I get so angry inside at what I find Impossible to accomplish. You have sure made me feel that I am not alone on this journey. Thanks so much. I mean it. Thank you. Till the next blog meeting, take care and trudge on!!!

You’re very welcome Linda! You’re certainly not alone on this journey. And as much as I’d like to take credit for the quote, I read it online somewhere a while back. But I am so happy that it resonated with you and thank you for letting me know that it did! 🙂

Michelle,
Loved the quote….I have to say that I felt more like that before my knee replacement surgery and even though I still have days where I simply don’t feel good enough to do some things, I have a new lease on life since my surgery and can do so much more!!!
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time and effort goes into doing so and it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
