Hey there! I hope you had a wonderful week!
I’m sorry to say that my health issues have not improved. The vaccine caused a reaction to the medicine my doctor gave me for the extreme anxiety the vaccine caused, resulting in more horrible symptoms such as my skin feeling like it is burning from a sunburn and a histamine intolerance. It seems like whenever I think I’ve hit bottom with all of this, something else gives way and I sink down even further.
I know I say this every week, but I’m just so sorry that I have to bring you all down with all of this. When this all started, I debated making up another reason or just not saying anything about it. But I’ve never been a good liar and you guys deserve to know what’s really going on with me, even if it’s not that pleasant.
Thank you SO much to everyone who commented and reached out to me last week! Sometimes I feel very alone with my health struggles so it is so nice to know that people care and are thinking of me ❤️
On a brighter note, we got 109 linkups last week – the most ever! Whoo hoo!

Hi Michelle, thanks so much for sharing my goat cart in the Garden Room, and all the wonderful fall inspiration. And thankyou for sharing with us how you’re feeling and health concerns. I’m like you, I feel like it’s important to be truthful and upfront in our blogs because things DO effect us and it’s hard to “act normal” when life is difficult. You’re not alone. We continue to pray for your improvement. Take care of yourself and try to rest when you can. Put yourself first. big hugs, Deb
Michelle says
Thank you so much Deb! I’m so glad you understand and feel the same way about being transparent.

Thank you so much for including our fall home tour in your features today, Michelle. I really appreciate it and I’m beyond thrilled to be with such a great group of creative ladies! Also, thank you for sharing your vaccine story. I had no idea you could have a vaccine reaction that was so severe. I’m sorry you’ve had such a rough time lately. I know it’s not easy and it affects every area of life. Blogging is not easy even when you’re 100% must less going through all the things you’ve gone through this year. I’ll definitely be adding my prayers to the others and lifting you up. Big hugs and thank yous, CoCo

Hi Michelle! I am so sorry you’re having to go through all of this pain. I am praying for you my sweet friend, I know this must be just awful for you! Several years ago when I received awful chemicals into my body, they were causing me a severe reaction. I found a naturalist and she flushed the toxic mess from my system. You may want to look into that, it worked for me. 🙂
Michelle says
Thank you so much DeeDee! I appreciate the tip!

Susan Wentworth says
I am so sorry that you are so ill. I also suffered for a time. Funny thing, My doctor had me try a nose spray and of all things, lasix. It worked like a charm in two weeks. Part of the symptoms caused fluid build up that just made me crazy. So the tiny dose of diuretic did the trick. Got rid of the anxiety and everything. Amazing. Such a simple fix…..After just a month of cortaid and lasix, I am back to normal. I don’t even take that any more.
Crazy.
Michelle says
So you had a reaction to the vaccine as well and the cortaid and lasix cleared it up? Amazing! I wish my doctor had known to try this before he put me on the anti-anxiety meds that messed me up so bad.

I can’t say any better what others have already said! Loving prayers and sweet words, and lots of good advice! We send those to you as well! A speedy healing for you is our prayer lifted up for you today!
And, I may be the only one who doesn’t like pumpkin anything other than as decorations. No pumpkin pie or pumpkin lattes for this gal. But! All the fall decorating is so darn pretty! We’re finishing up work inside our house so I’m not decorating till Christmas. I just live vicariously through others!
Get well soon!
