I hope you and yours are having a happy holiday season!

I finally got some Christmas decor up in my family room! I love decorating this room for the holidays as it’s the room where we spend most of our time.

The wreaths and garland are from the Brooklyn Pine line by CraftMore which I purchased on Amazon. I love CraftMore products as they are very high quality and worth every penny! The wreaths are thick, heavy and made of high quality materials. I purchased most of it last year to decorate this room when we hosted Christmas for our family. I didn’t have time to take pictures for the blog when I decorated last year, so I’m happy that I could share it with you this year!

My hubs and I love our big TV! When I’m taking pictures for the blog in this room, I try to find a picture or video that I can have up on the screen that will fit the current holiday and season. This snowy forest I found on YouTube was perfect!

The entertainment center is a vintage dresser that I repurposed. The wood beam over the TV came from my in-law’s barn on the farm they used to own.

See the box on the left of the entertainment center? My hubs built it out of old canning crates to cover the sound woofer. The box has three sides and is open in the bottom and back as to not interfere with the sound. There is a sound bar on the entertainment center in front of the TV that you can’t see right now because of the garland in front of it.

I found an easy way to decorate my tree this year that I’m sure other people have known about for years. But it’s new to me so I’m excited about it! What is this easy way you ask? I used pine (floral) picks! They were perfect for filling in gaps in the tree with different types of foliage which added a lot of depth and interest to an otherwise plain faux tree.
