Hey friends! Happy New Year! I hope that the first week of 2021 has been good for you and your loved ones.

If you live in the US this year is off to an interesting start :/ It’s heartbreaking for me to see how polarized our country has become over politics and other issues. I don’t discuss politics online and I’m not going to start now, but I can’t wait until the inauguration because I’m hoping everything will settle down a bit afterward.

My hubs and I were joking around last night and discussing what other countries we could move to if the US implodes. (Warning: my hubs and I have an interesting sense of humor). We decided instead of moving to another country we’re going to buy a small island and then declare it as its own country. We also decided the name for our new country will be Eff Off Island. We even began working on a national anthem – the lyrics of which I will not be sharing here for reasons that should be obvious given the name of our new country 🙂

I always find that humor is a good thing even in the darkest of times as a way to deal with whatever is going on at the moment. I hope you are finding some humor as well as love in your life right now – I think the latter will be the only thing that will save us at this point.

Link Party Rules:

Link up your DIY projects, decor inspiration, and crafts that are farmhouse style. You don’t have to live in a farmhouse or have farmhouse be the main decor theme in your home in order to link up. I love seeing farmhouse mixed in with other styles such as boho! No food or recipe posts please. I’m super flexible when it comes to defining “farmhouse” so if you are unsure of whether your post will fit in the party theme, go ahead and post it and if I feel it doesn’t fit, it will be deleted – no hard feelings! 🙂 It doesn’t matter how old your posts are, but please link up your posts only once.

I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I appreciate it! I also don’t require you to visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.

By linking up to this party, you permit me to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
